On the afternoon of December 16th, the Awarding Ceremony of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology - Jwell Machinery Special Scholarship and the Donation Ceremony of Extrusion Equipment was grandly held at the Conference Center of Chaoyang Campus. Song Laixin, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Mr. He Haichao, Chairman of Jwell Machinery, the donor of the scholarship, was present and addressed the ceremony.

On behalf of the university, Song Laixin first extended a warm welcome to Mr. He Haichao, Chairman of Jwell Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and his delegation. He briefly introduced the remarkable achievements the university has made in recent years in talent cultivation, scientific research and deepening school-enterprise cooperation. Mr. He Haichao briefed the attendees on the development history, industrial layout of Jwell Machinery and the enterprise’s urgent demand for high-caliber talents. He stated that the enterprise attaches great importance to the collaborative education work with universities, and looks forward to taking the special scholarship and equipment donation as a bond to build a more solid practical platform for the growth and development of BUCT students. Jacky Lou, General Manager of Jwell Machinery (Haining) Co., Ltd. and an alumnus of the Class of 1999 from the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of our university, recalled his experience of studying and living at the university and expressed his gratitude for the nurturing of his alma mater. Combining with his own growth experience at Jwell Machinery, he introduced the original aspiration of establishing the special scholarship and explained the application scenarios of the donated extrusion equipment in practical teaching.

Witnessed by all attending guests, Yu Hongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Li Jianhua, Director of the Domestic Cooperation and Exchange Office and Secretary-General of the University Foundation, and Guan Changfeng, Secretary-General of the Alumni Association of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, awarded the Scholarship Donation Certificate and the Extrusion Equipment Donation Certificate to Chairman He Haichao respectively.
